Good news: In the greater Philadelphia area, gasoline prices keep going down after hitting record highs during July. Better news: In Sanatoga, gasoline prices seem to be going even lower than those in surrounding municipalities.
An Associated Press story in today’s Philadelphia Inquirer reported the area average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas was down 2 cents from last Friday’s price of $3.62. That price also down 8 cents over the week. The national average was down a cent since Friday, to $3.68.
At the Sunoco station on East High Street at Sunnyside Avenue in Sanatoga, unleaded gas yesterday (Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008) sold for $3.58.
