Hundreds of parents, family members and teachers packed into the cafeteria at Lower Pottsgrove (PA) Elementary School, 1329 Buchert Rd., Sanatoga, last night (Sept. 18, 2008) for its annual Back-To-School Night. School faculty and staff members said they were pleased with the turnout.

The event is an opportunity for parents to meet their childrens’ teachers – some of them for the first time – and for kids to show off what they’ve been doing and learning since school opened Aug. 25. Lower Pottsgrove is one of three elementary schools in the Pottsgrove School District; West Pottsgrove and Ringing Rocks elementaries, and the district middle and high schools as well, conducted similar events during the past 10 days.
