Sanatoga Fire Company Report For August 2008

At Station 58.

Sanatoga firefighters and fire police responded to 30 calls during August 2008, according to the monthly report of Rick Brendlinger, chief of the Sanatoga Fire Company.

For the year through Aug. 31, Brendlinger reports, the company responded to a total of 203 calls, an average of about 25 per month. As of his August report, members responded to those calls a total of 1,714 times, rendering 1,550 man-hours of service.

One volunteer was injured during the month, according to the report.

The all-volunteer Sanatoga and  Ringing Hill fire companies provide fire protection to Lower Pottsgrove Township, which includes Sanatoga. The township funds a portion of their operating budgets.
