Tuesday’s (Oct. 28, 2008) the deadline to submit an absentee ballot application for this November’s election.
The Montgomery County Board of Elections in Norristown PA must have an application physically in hand (not just postmarked) tomorrow – the Tuesday before Election Day – by 5 p.m. Those who can vote absentee include military and overseas citizens, students attending college away from home, people traveling for work-related business and individuals with illnesses or disabilities. Some exceptions to the deadlines apply to military, overseas and emergency absentee voters.

The deadline to return an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 31, 2008). A copy of an approved form of identification must accompany the voted ballot of newly registered voters.
