Because supposedly few people know a place better than those hired to extol its virtues to the public, the Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau said Wednesday (Oct. 29, 2008) its staff members are writing a new blog to tell visitors about the valley’s attractions, events and activities. Their almost-daily entries are based on their own experiences in the area, the bureau said.

Blog posts are categorized by theme and cover a wide range of interests: dining, wineries, the arts, family activities, concerts, and sports. In the future, the bureau also intends to post user-generated content such as reviews and feedback on trips.

The Lehigh Valley is home to Allentown PA – about 32 miles north of Sanatoga village center – and Bethlehem and Easton PA.
