SANATOGA PA – Weekend activities for Sanatogans (and anyone else!), Nov. 14-16, 2008:

Friday, Nov. 14

A back-door used book sale, conducted by the Friends of the Pottstown Public Library, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the back door (where else?) of the library, off the rear parking lot at 500 High St., Pottstown. The sale will be repeated Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. For information, call 610-970-6551.

The Society of Orpheus and Bacchus, an a capella singing group based at Yale University and performing since 1938, will be the featured artists of the free 23rd Hewitt Concert presented by The Perkiomen School at 8 p.m. in Upper Perkiomen High School, 2 Walt Rd., Red Hill PA. Tickets can be reserved at no charge by calling 215-679-1142.

Saturday, Nov. 15

The annual Christmas bazaar of the Boyertown Mennonite Church will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 275 Mill St., Boyertown PA. Available for purchase will be plants, canned goods, books, baked goods, baskets and craft items. A pancake breakfast will be served from 7-10 a.m. For more information, call 610-369-1974.

A holiday bazaar and bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100 North, Barto PA. Proceeds from the sale benefit the church.

A Christmas craft bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Basil The Great Church, Kimberton Road, Kimberton PA. It features homemade crafts, wreaths, jewelry, ornaments and baked goods. Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 78th semi-annual Elverson Fall Antiques Show and Sale, benefitting the Twin Valley Scholastic Football Boosters, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Twin Valley High School, off Route 23 in Morgantown PA. Tickets cost $5. For more information, call 610-286-9490. The sale will be repeated Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A night of big band music and dancing will mark the 25th anniversary of the Swing Fever Dance Band, performing from 8-11 p.m. at Sunnybrook Ballroom, 50 Sunnybrook Rd., Pottstown. Light refereshments and buffet-style snacks will be served, and a cash bar is available. Tickets cost $27.50 per person.  For more information, call 610-779-3506.

Sunday, Nov. 16

A rummage and flea market featuring clothing, housewares, furniture, collectibles and other items will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mercy and Truth Synagogue, North Keim Street, Pottstown PA. The sale, sponsored by the Jewish Women’s League, will be repeated Monday (Nov. 17, 2008) from 9 a.m. – Noon.
