Friday, Nov. 21

The lobby of the new Harleysville National Bank at 1500 E. High St., Pottstown PA, will be the site of the bank’s open house celebration Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 610-327-4224.

Members of the Philadelphia Eagles football team, their cheerleaders, and Swoop their mascot all are scheduled to appear from 3-6 p.m. during a live radio broadcast at CJ Tire, 343 Hafer Dr., Leesport PA. Saturday, Nov. 22

The National Dog Show, hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia and presented by Purina, will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Greater Reading Expo Center, 2525 N. 12th St., Reading. Tickets cost $10. For those unable to attend in person, the show will be broadcast at noon Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 27, 2008) on NBC.

The holiday bazaar of Ringing Rocks Elementary School will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school, 1401 Kauffman Rd., Pottstown PA.

A holiday bazaar sponsored by the Pottsgrove Music League will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pottsgrove High School, 1345 Kauffman Rd., Pottstown PA.

Crafts, food and baked goods, a silent auction, and an hourly door prize are offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the Christmas Craft Show at Hope United Methodist Church, 117 N. Monocacy Creek Rd., Douglassville PA. For more information, call 610-385-7141.

The annual Holiday Craft Show conducted by the Sanatoga Fire Company will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fire house, 2222 E. High St., Sanatoga PA. Hand-crafted items and baked goods will be featured for sale, and lunch is available.

An antique gun show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and again Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Sunnybrook Ballroom, 50 Sunnybrook Rd., Sanatoga PA. Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Antique Gun Collectors’ Association, the show features investment-quality historic and antique firearms. Three hundred exhibits are expected. Tickets cost $7; children age 18 and younger are free when accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 610-891-8405.

New, used and vintage guitars will be bought, sold and traded from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Great American Guitar Show, to be held at the Valley Forge Convention Center, 1160 First Ave., King of Prussia PA. Sunday, Nov. 23

The 35th annual Muhlenberg Turkey Trot runs of 5K, 10K and 2 miles will start at 11 a.m. at Laurel Run Park, 3049 River Rd., Reading PA.
