LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Pennsylvania is searching the township and elsewhere for its Best 50 Women In Business.
The 14th annual contest, sponsored by the state Department of Community and Economic Development and several business newspapers, recognizes women who balance their jobs with a commitment to their communities and women’s issues, according to department Acting Secretary John Blake. A panel of judges selects the “Best 50” based on professional accomplishments, community involvement and advocacy for women in business.
Nominations will be accepted online at the state’s Center for Entrepreneurial Assistance. They also may be mailed to the Center for Entrepreneurial Assistance, 4th Floor, Commonwealth Keystone Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120. The deadline for all entries Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. No faxed entries will be accepted. Winners will be announced May 11.
