For That Someone Who Has Everything

Put a real charge under the tree.

Put a real charge under the tree.

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The company that supplies electricity to households in northern and eastern portions of the township has and idea for that certain hard-to-buy-for someone on your holiday gift list.

Pay their utility bill, Metropolitan Edison suggests.

Met-Ed, one several utilities providing power to customers in Lower Pottsgrove, is selling gift certificates that can be used to pay electric bills. Available in denominations of $25, $50, $75, $100 and $250, the certificates can be sent in the mail like a regular check and applied to all or part of the customer’s Met-Ed account.

Although its gift certificate program is available year-round, the utility – which is a division of FirstEnergy Corp. – thinks it could have sprcific relevance during what is, for some, an economically dismal season. To place an order, visit FirstEnergy’s website, click on the “gift certificate” icon, then click on the Met-Ed text link.
