Wednesday's Videos Promote Tourism

VALLEY FORGE PA – Montgomery County PA got a boost as a destination location – someplace for tourists to go, have fun in, and stay awhile at – as the subject of two videos uploaded Wednesday (Dec. 17, 2008) to YouTube.

Both were produced by the Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau, and appeared online at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the bureau’s YouTube channel.

One video of 2m:12s (above) is meant primarily to inform tour group operators about what’s available for tourists within the area.

A second of 2m:21s (above), and which uses scenes identical or similar to the first, puts a greater emphasis on lifestyle and seems to target individuals.

For those interested in music, both feature upbeat jazz soundtracks. There is no narration in either.

Local (to Lower Pottsgrove, at least) locations or attractions highlighted in the videos include the Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Limerick PA, the King of Prussia PA malls, the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College in Collegeville PA, and Pottsgrove Mansion in Pottstown PA.

A press release issued Tuesday (Dec. 16, 2008) by the bureau touts “Area Venues to Wine, Dine and Ring in ’09,” and gives Sanatoga’s own Sunnybrook Ballroom a generous mention for its upcoming New Year’s Eve Spectacular.
