KNAUERTOWN PA – Nature lovers can get an earful of spring on March 28 (2009; Saturday) from 5-6:30 p.m., as they tromp through wetlands at Warwick County Park, 191 County Park Rd. (Pavilion 2), to hear frogs and toads produce distinctive sounds and a variety of calls. Visitors can learn to identify different frogs just by their calls, and discover how and why they call so much at this time of year.
- This event has been added to The Post’s March calendar.
Participants are asked to wear boots or other footwear appropriate for wet and muddy walking. Instructors will be park Education Coordinator Glenn Nelson and Technician Jay Erb. Registration is requested, and is limited to 50 participants. For more information or to sign up, call the park at 610-469-1916 or visit its website.
