Warwick Park Hosts Outdoor Fest

KNAUERTOWN PA – The annual Warwick Outdoor Fest and Kid’s Trout Rodeo, hosted by Chester County’s Warwick County Park and featuring a variety of free hands-on recreational activities, will be held May 9 (2009; Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, 382 County Park Rd., south of Pottstown and 3.5 miles west of the intersection of Routes 100 and 23.

Outdoor Fest activities include Nordic walking, a climbing wall, survival skills, children’s programs, exhibits and displays. The Coventryville Trout Club will hold its annual Kid’s Trout Rodeo along the banks of the French Creek. The Friends of Warwick Park organization will have food for purchase.

The event will be held rain or shine. Admission is free, but parking costs $5 per car. For more information, call the park at 610-469-1916.
