Met-Ed Customers Endure Outage

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Electrical power was restored Tuesday (May 12, 2009) at about 3 p.m. to the last of an estimated 2,100 Metropolitan Edison utility customers, including some in the northern end of the township, who suffered through an outage that began at around 11:30 a.m.

An automated message from Met-Ed, delivered to its customers’ phones, said the outage was caused by tree limbs that fell across power lines as its crews were trimming branches on Bleim Road.
