Arlington National Cemetery, where the body of Pottstown's Brig. Gen. Elmer S. Friedberg will be interred this July.

STOWE PA – Members of Pottsgrove American Legion Post 244, recently named for the late Brig. Gen. Elmer S. Friedberg of Pottstown, will attend an internment ceremony for Friedberg scheduled for July 1 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington VA. The post Honor Guard is scheduled to participate in the burial.

This event has been added to The Post calendar.

The post, which meets in St. Gabriel Lodge at the corner of Jefferson Street and Grosstown Road, has chartered a bus for the trip. Seating is limited to 52 people, but extra seating is anticipated to be available for non-members. Tickets cost $35 per person, and must be purchased by June 15 (2009; Monday).
