I know the one girl, Dallas Briel, who was taken to intensive care. She is in the 7th grade at Boyertown Junior High West. I am very good friends with her. I was very depressed on Monday. All day. I kind of forgot about it until i walked into study hall and she wasn’t in her seat. We would always talk for like 15 minutes there in the bathroom everyday. I went in the bathroom because maybe just maybe I heard wrong and she might be in there. But she was not. Dallas, you are in my prayers!
As a parent of teenage drivers I always worried and always cautioned them on departure from our home about driving safe and seatbelts as a must be on rule for everyone in the car.
Too many teens in a car and the attention span of the driver is distracted. Combine that with wet and frozen roadways and disaster looms.
I can but offer a prayer and condolences, a well as a recovery for the injured.
