The Blizzard Locally, As Seen On YouTube

POTTSTOWN PA – Across western Montgomery County (PA), residents with video cameras couldn’t help themselves Wednesday (Feb. 10, 2010), as up to two feet of snow fell in some areas. They filmed a variety of scenes (some with a greater eye for story-telling than others) and then posted their winter antics to YouTube, the popular video sharing website.

In the greater Pottstown area, at least one house cat, Caesar by name, wasn’t in love with his snow experience … even if YouTube User rebecky8 created a winter playground for him on the back deck of her home.

There was no trout fishing Wednesday for Limerick PA’s YouTube user troutrageous1, who traded his fly-fishing rod for a snow shovel.

Area resident and YouTube User rebecky8 later left the house to supervise the snow-shoveling operation outside.

Here’s an easy way to get a face fulla the white stuff: Go diving! YouTube User mommapics recorded the Mazzengas of Limerick PA on Wednesday as they leaped head first into the snow.

YouTube User toetod in Collegeville PA took his video camera outside Wednesday at mid-day, and went hunting for his car buried in the snow.

In Phoenixville, YouTube account user alysania walked outside and recorded the snowfall on her footsteps and a nearby cluster of evergreens. “A lot heavier than last time,” she reported about the accumulation.

And YouTube user seansean576 hopped in a car and traveled (above and below) the streets of Pottstown for a ground-level view of road conditions.
