Sunnybrook Cancels Tonight's Dinner-Dance

SANATOGA PA – A dance scheduled for tonight (Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010) in Sunnybrook Ballroom, featuring the Swing Fever Band, has been canceled due to “travel issues and the snowy weather,” the ballroom’s management announced.

The band has already agreed to re-schedule its appearance later in the spring. Those who have already purchased dinner and/or dance tickets for the event should keep them to be honored for that performance, which will be announced on Sunnybrook’s website, according to the e-mail announcement.

“We apologize for any inconvenience for the late notice,” its Friday e-mail said. “Sunnybrook continues to bring the best entertainment to the region, however, such incidents are beyond our control and do occur on occasion,” the e-mail added.
