UPDATED FOR THE TIMES – A worker from TW Plastering in Lititz PA, center, put finishing touches last week on the new facade, top, of the Sanatoga Corp. appliance showroom at 2783 East High St., Pottstown PA. The exterior, sculpted from a styrofoam core and covered with a fiberglass mesh and stucco-like material called Dryvit, allowed the building’s East High Street face to gain the appearance of support beams and dividing columns where none existed before. New lamps were added at the roof for both decoration and security. The building’s older stone facade was removed so the new one could be installed. That uncovered portions, at bottom right, showing how the company’s predecessor – Sanatoga Radio – looked decades ago.
