CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LOWER POTTSGROVE HISTORICAL SOCIETY – It’s officially 25 years old tomorrow (Sept. 10, 2010), having been founded in 1985, according to the society’s website. The Post marks the occasion with greetings via this postcard, titled “A Birthday Blessing,” published in 1918 by S. Bergman Co. The card, N0. 1509, was purchased in January 2010. It was originally addressed to a “Mrs. Mann” from “Wilmer Lukens,” who wrote, “With best wishes and many Happy Birthdays.” We’ll second that.
