
Comedian Conklin
POTTSTOWN PA – Comedian Joe Conklin brings his impressions of Barack Obama, Cole Hamels, Charlie Manuel, Charles Barkley, and other celebrities to Pottstown on Oct. 29 (2009; Friday) at 8 p.m. in the Hill School Center For The Arts at Beech and Sheridan Streets, Pottstown PA, for a performance to benefit the Meals on Wheels program in Montgomery County.

Heard regularly on 610 WIP Radio, Conklin shares his experiences growing up in the neighborhoods of Philadelphia, highlighted by his Kensington characters from Chip Snapper’s Taproom.
Each weekday, the Sanatoga-based Family Services’ Meals on Wheels provides two meals – a hot lunch and a cold supper to refrigerate – to an average of 160 home bound elderly and disabled individuals in Pottstown, Royersford and the Lower Perkiomen Valley. Community volunteers personally deliver more than 81,000 meals a year.
Event sponsors include the Limerick Generating Station of Exelon Corp., First Niagara, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, BTC Foods, and the Chiropractic & Wellness Center P.C.
