POTTSTOWN PA – This year (2010) marks the 10th consecutive year in which employees of Diamond Credit Union, headquartered at 1600 Medical Dr. in Lower Pottsgrove (PA) Township, have achieved 100-percent participation in the annual United Way campaign, credit union Vice President of Marketing Todd Rothenberger announced Thursday (Dec. 2, 2010).
In addition to Diamond’s corporate financial pledge, Rothenberger said, all 112 of its employees made donations to the United Way through weekly payroll contributions or a one-time payment. That brought Diamond’s total contribution to more than $27,700, he added.
“The United Way operates with the understanding that it takes everyone in the community working together to make a brighter future. As active members of this community, we are happy to help the United Way in any way we can” said Diamond President and CEO John Faust.
This year’s United Way campaign was organized by Linda Rudolph, Diamond’s human resources manager and United Way chairperson.
Diamond is Pennsylvania’s 19th largest credit union, and operates two additional offices in Reading. It serves more than 40,000 members in Berks County and the Tri-County region, and holds more than $352 million in assets.
