POTTSTOWN PA – A lengthy list of business items faces the Lower Pottsgrove (PA) Township Board of Commissioners during its scheduled meeting tonight (Monday, Dec. 6, 2010) at 7 p.m. in the municipal building, 2199 Buchert Rd., Pottstown PA. The meeting is open to the public.
Among things to be considered by commissioners:
- A policy covering the township’s sale of no-longer-needed items it owns that are valued at less than $1,000. Read a story about it here;
- Advertising a proposal to employ a new company, Portnoff Law Associates Ltd., to collect delinquent township taxes. Read a story about it here;
- Advertising a proposal to create a law that would escrow amounts owed to the township in unpaid tax or other bills from the proceeds of property owners’ fire insurance claims. Read a story about it here;
- As well as estate and tax assessment settlement agreements, new policies regarding fire police, the purchase of a Rupert Road property for open space use, and proposed corrections to the township’s non-uniformed employees’ pension plan.
