
A GAME CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE – Members of the Pottsgrove and Springfield (Delaware County PA) high school boys soccer teams traveled Friday (Dec. 3, 2010) to the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville PA, to offer a $1,000 donation to its Patient Assistance Fund in honor of the Pottsgrove team’s assistant coach Patti Grimm, who is a breast cancer survivor. On hand for presentation of the check were, from left, Terry Korinth, the hospital’s Susan Lorah, Springfield coach Jason Piombino, Alex Abdalla, Pottsgrove coach Jay Witkowski, Jeff Erb, Kevin Grimm, center physician Dr. Christopher Holroyde, Remi Mark, Chris Canova, honoree Patti Grimm, and Randy Miller. The money was raised Oct. 9 (2010) during a soccer game between the two teams.
