Learn About Family Businesses At Free Workshop

BLUE BELL PA – Working in family businesses can challenge both family and non-family members. Understanding their dynamics is one goal a free workshop being conducted by the Montgomery County Community College Center for Entrepreneurial Studies on Feb. 28 (2011; Monday) at 1 p.m. in Room 121 of Parkhouse Hall on the college’s Central campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell PA.

Business expert Lesley Huff will discuss the arrangement of family businesses, and research on best practices to navigate the overlap between the family and business. She will also discuss the relevance and presence of family businesses in the nation’s economy.

The college’s new center offers entrepreneurs both a business incubator and an array of free support services, including legal, accounting, marketing and technology. Representatives from the Small Business Association and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) are available by appointment to answer business questions.
