
THE BIG GAME DESERVES A BIG SANDWICH – Saturday (Feb. 5, 2011) was Super Bowl Hoagie Day at the Pottsgrove High School cafeteria, Kauffman Road, Pottstown PA. The high school Parent-Teacher Organization sold its Italian meats and ham sandwiches during the preceding week, then scheduled them to be picked up the day before the Steelers faced the Packers in Texas during football’s biggest showdown of the year. Proceeds from the sale benefited the PTO Coordinating Council Scholarship Fund. Darlene Robinson, above, was among the volunteers who helped usher hags filled with hoagies out the door with happy buyers. Tim Hoffman, below, was among those who were ready to enjoy all that good eatin’.
