College Lecture Series Covers Domestic Violence

POTTSTOWN PA – A discussion of domestic violence, part of the “Crime and Justice Lecture Series” conducted by Montgomery County Community College, will be held April 11 (2011; Monday) from 6-8 p.m. in the Community Room of South Hall on the college’s West Campus, 101 College Dr., Pottstown. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Also in the series:

  • “Sexting” will be the topic offered by the county District Attorney’s Office the next day (Tuesday, April 12) at the college’s central campus, in Room 214 of the Science Center, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell PA.
  • It will be followed by “Criminal Profiling: Hunting Serial Killers and Psychopaths,” presented by criminal profiler and consultant Pat Brown, on April 13 (Wednesday), again on the central campus.

The college’s Criminal Justice and Fire Science Club sponsors the series, intended to help students and the community learn about a variety of crime and justice issues directly from professionals in the field.
