POTTSTOWN PA – Are you surfing for bargains at work? The folks at OnlineMBA.com are willing to bet a substantial percentage of you do. And that’s probably not all you do on an employer’s dime either, they figure.
On average, according to the web portal that helps universities and other institutions sell online courses for master’s degrees in business, American office workers waste as much as three hours of each 8-hour day on tasks that aren’t work-related. That doesn’t include breaks and lunch, it adds. The cost of this lost productivity, it claims, is $750 billion a year.
