SANATOGA PA – Its agenda may not be available for hours yet, but the Lower Pottsgrove (PA) Township Board of Commissioners is nonetheless scheduled to meet tonight (Monday, Aug. 1, 2011) beginning at 7 p.m. in the municipal building, 2199 Buchert Rd, Pottstown PA, for the first of two sessions planned during August.

The board canceled its second July meeting, Manager Rodney Hawthorne announced, due to lack of a quorum; three of the five elected commissioners would have been unavailable to attend.

A meeting agenda usually is available online at least a day before the board gathers, but the agenda still posted on the township website is for the meeting held July 7. A replacement likely will be offered later today. Once available, it often can be downloaded here.

The meeting is open to the public.

One item that may be up for review or acceptance is the township Sewer Authority’s audited statement of revenues, expenses and changes in net assets for 2010. The statement was published July 24 in The (Pottstown PA) Mercury newspaper, the township’s publication of record for legal notices.
