In Sanatoga, A Simple But Effective 9-11 Tribute

THEY’VE NEVER FORGOTTEN THE FALLEN – As they have annually since the Sept. 11, 2011, terrorist attacks on New York City, members of the Sanatoga Fire Company again this year erected a simple but persistent reminder that many who died that day and after did so attempting to rescue others. A sign that stands this week outside the garage doors of the firehouse, 2222 E. High St., Sanatoga PA, refers to 343 New York City firefighters who perished as first responders to the stricken towers of the World Trade Center. Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the tragedy.

    Let’s not forget anyone on this day of rememberence.

    The unfinished Flight 93 memorial is a shameful blight on our efforts. Had the brave souls on that plane not downed it, it could have attacked Washington DC and damaged and killed many.
