POTTSTOWN PA – A biennial inspection by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation of the eastbound U.S. Route 422 bridge between Lower Pottsgrove and North Coventry townships will close the highway’s right lane between its Armand Hammer Boulevard and Route 724 interchanges on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 3 and 4, 2012) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, according to PennDOT Community Relations Coordinator Charles Metzger.

The every-two-years inspection is part of PennDOT’s program to ensure the safety of the structure. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zones, Metzger added. For more information, call 610-205-6700.
