SANATOGA PA – A Sanatoga woman was charged Sunday (May 27, 2012) at 7:04 p.m. with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, simple assault and disorderly conduct after Lower Pottsgrove police alleged she fought with officers while being served an arrest warrant.
Ofc. David Slothower said Monica P. Lamb, of 2120 Buchert Rd., was initially being taken into custody on charges of allegedly submitting false alarms to agencies, as well as submitting a false report stemming from a March 3 incident. Two officers arrived at her residence to serve a related warrant.
Police claim Lamb then “actively fought” with two officers in resisting arrest, and refused to be handcuffed. “One officer received (an) injury to his hand from Lamb,” Slothower reported.
She was expected to be arraigned Monday (May 27) on the new charges.
