Glowing As Brightly As Their Love For Others

GOOD CAUSE, AND EFFECT – Volunteers in the Pottstown Area Relay for Life event Saturday and Sunday (June 2-3, 2012) took to the bleachers at Pottsgrove High School stadium Saturday evening (above) to light thousands of luminarias purchased by donors to benefit the American Cancer Society. Hundreds of area residents attended the fund-raising marathon off Kauffman Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars to help battle cancer. The luminarias honored cancer victims and survivors, and glowed (below) throughout Saturday night.
