Blow Up Some Bubbles, And Blow Your Cares AwayPOTTSTOWN PA – The first outdoor activity of the Pottstown Regional Public Library‘s 2012 summer program launches at 10:30 this morning (Friday, June 15, 2012), Director of Youth Services Leslie Stillings reports, as participants will create big bubbles on the rear (south) side of its building at 500 High St.

“A lot of children signed up” for that kind of fun, Stillings said in a Thursday (June 14) e-mail, but there always seems to be room for more. Those who are interested should call the library at 610-970-6551.

Also on the library’s entertaining schedule, she said, are these programs:

  • Philadelphia Zoo at the library, June 20 (Wednesday) at 10:30 a.m.;
  • A “Moon Gardening” program, in which kids will plant flowers and veggies outside the library, June 21 (Thursday) at 4 p.m.; and
  • “Superhero Story Time,” for which kids can dress as their favorite superheroes and run a mini-obstacle course, June 23 (Saturday) at 11 a.m.

These events have been added to The Post calendar.

The library receives funding, in part, from the Lower Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners.
