A VEHICLE WITH CURB A’PEEL – “Did I really just see this driving on High Street in Pottstown?,” photographer Tory Hawkins (@Tori_Hawkins) asked via Twitter, as she snapped this image (above) from the car in which she was riding Friday night (June 15, 2012) at 7:57 on the corner of East High Street and North Pleasant View Road in Sanatoga. The object of her interest was another car, shaped and painted like a yellow-skinned banana, cruising east through the village as she captured it with her cell phone camera and posted it to the social media network.
Twitter fan Stephanie Musal (@stephaniemusal) saw it too (left), only minutes earlier at 7:43. “Only in Pottstown” would you be likely to find something so out-of-the-ordinary, she mused. Seeing it prompted her to add a hashtag: “good to be home.” (#GoodToBeHome).
