An Inspired Sanatoga Photo ... Whether Divinely Or Not

APPARITION? – The clouds, the sky, the lighting and a cross all seemed to converge at just the right time Monday evening (July 2, 2012) on North Sanatoga Road in Sanatoga, as 16-year-old photographer and Pottstown School District student Lindsey Havyer snapped this photograph of a hilltop on the road’s west side and posted it to the Instagram social media website. Havyer, who is known on Twitter as linds810, described the cross as “creepy” and “random.” Actually, it marks property said to be owned by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia that was purchased several years ago as a site for a new church. Those plans have not materialized.

Reminds one of another cross another time and another land….

    Nice photo…

It makes me sad that someone so young thinks that a cross looks “creepy” and “random”.
