BACK-TO-SCHOOL INTRODUCTIONS – It’s back-to-back, back-to-school nights this week in the Pottsgrove School District. Staff members at Ringing Rocks Elementary on Kauffman Road, and at West Pottsgrove Elementary on Grosstown Road, will greet their parents and others tonight (Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012). A similar event occurs at Pottsgrove High School on Sept. 18. One was held Tuesday (Sept. 11) at the Middle School. And on Wednesday (Sept. 12), a large crowd gathered (above) at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School for its back-to-school affair. During a welcome in the gym, teachers both old and new to Lower – which was reconfigured this year as a grades 3-5 educational center – were personally introduced (below), and then all headed off to classrooms to meet individually and look around the building. The school’s Parent-Teacher Organization also was out in force, offering a variety of Lower-emblazoned sportswear (bottom) to raise funds for its programs.
