THE STUDENT SECTION? IT WAS JUST A TAD EXCITED – The Pottsgrove High School student cheering section continued to make a name for itself Friday (Sept. 14, 2012) in Pennsburg, as the Falcons’ varsity football team steamrolled the Upper Perkiomen Indians, 56-7, in a Pioneer Athletic Conference game. It was Pottsgrove’s second consecutive win, and news reports said Falcon Coach Rick Pennypacker was satisfied with the team’s performance. So, too, were Pottsgrove students who came out in force to Upper Perk’s bleachers and whooped it up for their colleagues on the field. Taylor Sakal was among them; she posted this photo of the cheering group from her Twitter account and on Instagram with the added messages: “That awk(ward) moment when we’re at an away game and Pottsgrove’s student section is 10x bigger than UP’s … Seriously, I love our student section! Best student section EVER.”
