Pottsgrove Band's Still Hard At Work To Fund Its Trip

NO NEED TO BUY ANYTHING; YOU CAN DONATE, TOO – Members of the Pottsgrove High School Marching Band, their parents and supporters so far have held a car wash, a barbecue, a car show, a comedy night, sold magazines and gift cards, and recently (Sept. 8, 2012; above and below) conducted a consignment sale at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School, Buchert Road, Pottstown PA, to help raise money for the band’s scheduled Dec. 27 (2012) trip to San Diego CA. They’ve been invited to perform during the nationally televised Bridgeport Education Holiday Bowl parade and football game half-time show. To get the group’s 55 members to California and back, it must collect about $99,000. More fund-raisers are planned in coming weeks, but direct donations to the cause, as well as commercial sponsors, are welcomed too. A donation form is available here.
