TAILGATES UP! – Trunk lids were thrown wide Saturday morning (Sept. 22, 2012), like so many gaping mouths, during a tailgate sale held by the West Pottsgrove Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization at the school parking lot on Grosstown Road in Stowe PA. A couple of dozen household entrepreneurs, all of them with goods they’d rather sell than return with, offered bargains to their neighbors on everything from children’s clothes to toys to furniture, with fees from vendors benefiting the group’s activities. PTO President April Thorum said she was pleased by parental participation. Even school Principal Theresa Koehler and her husband, Joe, were on hand with a sale area of their own.
Thanks for coming out Joe! It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife. It’s great to be part of a school that has such a family and community feel to it.
