Falcons Are Hungry! Boosters Hope You Will Be Too

POTTSTOWN PA – The Falcon Football Club hopes you’ll leave Saturday’s (Oct. 6, 2012) away game between Pottsgrove and Methacton high schools as hungry as the Falcons themselves, because when you get back club members have a feast waiting for you.

The afternoon football game will be played at 2 p.m. in Methacton’s stadium on Kriebel Mill Road in Worcester PA, just southeast of Collegeville. Pottsgrove, currently 5-0 and hankering for another win, goes up against 2-3 Methacton in the Pioneer Athletic Conference contest.

The football boosters encourage those returning west to stop into Pottsgrove High’s cafeteria, 1345 Kauffman Rd. – it will open Saturday from 5-7 p.m. – for their fill of tasty barbecued food being offered in a special fund-raiser.

A $12 ticket buys platter that includes a pulled pork sandwich, chicken pieces (leg/thigh) potato salad, baked mac and cheese, corn muffins, salad, and desserts and drinks. The food is being prepared by Boneyard Joe’s restaurant in Pottstown, and served up hot and fresh with proceeds to benefit the football team.

Tickets will be available at the door.
