SANATOGA PA – The winter and the start of a new budget year not far off, Lower Pottsgrove Township is in the market for diesel fuel.
The township Tuesday (Oct. 9, 2012), in a legal advertisement, said it was seeking bids from vendors who could supply No. 2 diesel fuel to three locations: its municipal garage, and the sewer pumping stations at Porter and South Sanatoga roads, respectively. Its ad contained the bidding details. The text of the notice follows:
NOTICE
Sealed Proposals will be received and publicly opened and read aloud on Tuesday October 30, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lower Pottsgrove Township Administration Office, 2199 Buchert Rd., Pottstown, PA for the service of providing and delivering on-road #2 diesel fuel to 3 locations: Municipal Garage (1239 N. Pleasant View Rd.) Porter Rd. Pump Station (224 Porter Rd.) & Sanatoga Pump Station (S. Sanatoga Rd.)
Copies of the detailed specifications are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Township Administration Office. A performance bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price shall be furnished by the successful bidder. Each bidder must submit bids on the forms provided by the Township.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids or parts thereof in the best interest of the Township.
