Quigley’s Property Tax Reform Hearings Continue Monday

HARRISBURG PA – State Rep. Tom Quigley, who represents Lower Pottsgrove, Pottstown and Limerick in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives and who chairs the House Select Committee on Property Tax Reform, will continue its hearings Monday (Oct. 15) at 9:30 a.m. in the Main Capitol Building.

Committee members intend to examine the impact public pensions have on property taxes, municipal and public debt collection, and local taxation in Philadelphia, according to House Republicans’ media contact Nicole Wamsley. Scheduled to attend are Quigley, committee members; Steve Nickol, assistant director of retirement programs for the Pennsylvania State Education Association; Rob Dubow, director of finance for the City of Philadelphia; Michael Crotty, partner at Siana, Bellwoar and McAndrew; and Michael Simone, national government accounts manager at NCSPlus.
