Township Re-Appoints Volunteers Troutman, Wolfgang

Lower Pottsgrove’s municipal building

SANATOGA PA – Two Lower Pottsgrove Township residents who have volunteered their time over several years to serve on municipal boards were re-appointed to those duties Thursday night (Oct. 18, 2012) by the Board of Commissioners during its second meeting of the month, with its unanimous thanks.

Commissioners returned Thomas Troutman to a seat on the Parks and Recreation Board, and William Wolfgang to the Planning Commission.

Both Troutman and Wolfgang in the past have publicly disagreed with board decisions on a variety of issues ranging from budget allocations to trash collection fees, but commissioners indicated they valued those divergent opinions. Their vote included appreciation voiced by board President Jonathan Spadt for their continued willingness to work on the township’s behalf.
