ROYERSFORD PA – Borough residents who want to receive the latest information on Hurricane Sandy and its local effects can sign up for a free text and e-mail service being offered now by Royersford’s Office of Emergency Management, The Limerick Patch reported Friday (Oct. 26, 2012).
Emergency Management Officer Tom Godin told the online news service his no-cost messages may include “info on evacuation routes and shelters.” Residents can register for Nixle here. Alerts already issued can be seen here.
