SPRING CITY PA – The borough issued a state of emergency declaration Monday morning (Oct. 29, 2012) at 11 and said it will remain in place for 72 hours, until Wednesday (Oct. 31) at 11 a.m., The Limerick Patch reported.
Spring City police encouraged residents “to stay in their homes where it is safe,” according to The Patch. The declaration authorizes law enforcers, Liberty Steam Fire Company representatives, and Streets and Roads Department workers “to manage emergency situations as they arise.”
