Shopping at the outlets

LIMERICK PA – “Midnight Madness” returns Nov. 23 (2012; Friday) to the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, 18 W. Lightcap Rd., as it starts the traditional post-Thanksgiving holiday shopping season by opening at midnight and, actually, even before then.

Officially, the outlet center’s Black Friday shopping starts a second after the stroke of 12. But what its owners describe as a “select number of stores” – more than 80 of them – will in fact open Thursday night at 9 p.m.. Another 60 or so will open at 10 p.m., followed by about 10 more at 11 p.m. By midnight, it’ll be ever shopper for him or herself with “exceptional holiday savings and extended shopping hours,” outlet promoters said.
