Winter Festival At Pottsgrove High Helps Toys For Tots

POTTSTOWN PA – Pottsgrove High School’s “Spark the Wave” Club will host a winter festival Dec. 8 (2012; Saturday) from 2-5 p.m. at the school, Kauffman Road, to benefit the annual holiday Toys for Toys Foundation drive.

The festival offers food, games, crafts, entertainment and activities. Many high school clubs and organizations will sponsor tables, and local businesses are donating prizes and coupons. The festival will include a moon bounce, cross-fit for kids, improvisation games, musical performances, a twirling demonstration, an original student-run play, crafts, pictures with Santa, carnival games, lunch items, baked goods, and basket and 50-50 raffles.

Admission can be a donation of either $5 or a new, unwrapped toy valued at $5 or more.

Spark the Wave is a social entrepreneurship organization that encourages students to become actively involved in their communities.
