Hurricane Sandy Relief Goods Fill West Pottsgrove Tables

LOOK WHAT THEY’VE COLLECTED SO FAR! – Students and families in the West Pottsgrove Elementary School community have donated items valued at hundreds of dollars as part of the school’s efforts to provide relief to victims of Hurricane Sandy in hard-hit Long Beach Island NJ. Principal Terri Koehler on Monday (Nov. 19, 2012) proudly showed off several cafeteria tables of boxes and bags filled with everything from books and games to food items. They are destined to be delivered after Thanksgiving Day. Koehler expressed appreciation to the community on behalf of the Grosstown Road school “for stepping up to help those in need.” Tuesday (Nov. 20) during school hours is the last day contributions to the relief drive are being accepted. For a list of specific items needed, see here.
