HARRISBURG PA – Consumers who intend to stock up on last-minute libations – wines and liquor for the holidays – need to do so by no later than 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24, 2012), and no later than 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve Dec. 31), the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced Thursday (Dec. 13).
All PA Wine and Spirits Stores including those in Lower Pottsgrove, Pottstown, North Coventry, Gilbertsville, Douglassville, Limerick, Phoenixville, Collegeville and East Greenville – will operate Dec. 17-23 during their regular hours, the board said. In addition, though, special stores will be open additional days and hours to meet customer demands. The closest of those to western Montgomery County is the store in Bridgeport PA, according to the state.
A selection of wine and spirits also is available for consumers age 21 and older who prefer to shop online and receive home delivery, the state said.
