SANATOGA PA – Monday’s (Dec. 17, 2012) regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Lower Pottsgrove Township Planning Commission, which was to have been held at 6:30 p.m. in the municipal building on Buchert Road, was canceled, the township announced on its website. No reason was offered.
Eight of 12 monthly meetings have been canceled this year, primarily because there was no business to conduct, Assistant Manager Allison Elliot has told the Board of Commissioners.
The five-member planning commission met only during April, May, June and July. The lack of a meeting since August means that minutes of its July 16 meeting will not be approved until after the start of the new year.
Planners are next scheduled to meet Jan. 28 (2013).
